An exceptional piece of equipment, very over engineered, The Contarex Super was released in 1967 and incorporated in built TTL metering. The camera is in very fine condition with only a couple minor bright marks to the baseplate.
This example is great working condition with crisp shutter, working aperture, smooth wind on, clean film bay and more importantly a meter that springs to life with fresh battery fitted.
The caera comes with the 50mm f2 Planar which is in lovely condition too with smooth focus, clean working apertures and clean glass free from haze and fungus.
Camera comes with original front cap & case.

*To change the battery out, set the shutter to 'B', fire and hold the shutter button down, there you will see a catch that can be flipped up, exposing the battery; change when necessary*
*We do warn that older meters can be temperamental and whilst we have tested the meter, unfortunately we can't warranty such things reliably*

Cameras are all rated on condition by our experienced team. We test rigorously before stocking items and give each product a fair rating on aesthetic and working condition.
Our Guarantee
The majority of our cameras come with a 6 month repair warranty unless individually stated. The exception to this is our film and digital compact cameras which come with a 1 month warranty. This does not cover accidental damage.
Free UK Shipping over £100
Spend over £100 with us and get your order shipped for free. We use Royal Mail and DHL as our shipping providers.
We do ship internationally- prices are worked out on checkout on the website.
Returns
If you change your mind or aren't feeling the camera/lens/equipment we can refund your order up to 14 days after purchase on items ordered online only.
Beyond this we offer a 30 day refund period, whereby if your camera is faulty or not working up to 30 days after purchase, we will offer a refund or exchange. This does not cover accidental damage.
VAT and Taxes
The vast majority of our cameras do not qualify for reclaimable VAT in the UK.
For orders shipped internationally, any local taxes will be added when clearing clearing customs locally.
The gift that keeps on giving (otherwise known as Brexit) means that any orders from within the EU will be subject to local VAT.
