Beautiful little Contax IIIa, camera's in wonderful condition cosmetically apart from the usual 'Zeiss Bumps' under the leatherette. Unfortunately theres a couple minor issues one being the shutter speeds running sluggish on the slower settings; so 1 second, 1/2 a second etc, speeds over 1/25th of a second are running well with no capping. Rangefinder patch still has good contrast and is aligned well, wind on works, film bay is clean and comes with take up spool. The second flaw is that the meter has stopped working, which isn't coupled to the mechanical operation of the camera in any way, the camera will still function fine but you'll need a secondary handheld meter if unsure about meter settings.
The lens is the real treasure, a f1.5, 50mm coated Sonnar in excellent condition, superb glass, smooth focus and good working apertures, a side note, there is some minor rust spots on the aperture blades, this doesn't affect the performance or optical quality of the lens and is only cosmetic.

Cameras are all rated on condition by our experienced team. We test rigorously before stocking items and give each product a fair rating on aesthetic and working condition.
Our Guarantee
The majority of our cameras come with a 6 month repair warranty unless individually stated. The exception to this is our film and digital compact cameras which come with a 1 month warranty. This does not cover accidental damage.
Free UK Shipping over £100
Spend over £100 with us and get your order shipped for free. We use Royal Mail and DHL as our shipping providers.
We do ship internationally- prices are worked out on checkout on the website.
Returns
If you change your mind or aren't feeling the camera/lens/equipment we can refund your order up to 14 days after purchase on items ordered online only.
Beyond this we offer a 30 day refund period, whereby if your camera is faulty or not working up to 30 days after purchase, we will offer a refund or exchange. This does not cover accidental damage.
VAT and Taxes
The vast majority of our cameras do not qualify for reclaimable VAT in the UK.
For orders shipped internationally, any local taxes will be added when clearing clearing customs locally.
The gift that keeps on giving (otherwise known as Brexit) means that any orders from within the EU will be subject to local VAT.
