An absolutely stunning piece of kit, the Bolex H16 Reflex 16mm Camera, this example has been lovingly serviced by Leslie Bosher, known for his quality work (service receipt will be included on sale). Serial number dates the camera to 1973, so it's a later production H16 REX 5.
Camera has had a full service including new shutter, realigned filter mech, lens has been serviced and focuses smoothly and to top it all off a new eyecup has been fitted!.
Camera is fully operational and a joy to use, FPS select well, camera winds on smoothly and fires consistently (please be aware that dry firing these above the cap of 18fps can damage the internals). Frame counter working, single shot working, finder clear and easy to focus with.
Lens works fully manually including focus, zoom & manual selection, glass is clear and free from fungus, front an rear elements are very clean, there is some very minor hazing on one of the middle elements, we have shot some test footage with this which will be uploaded to our socials soon!

Generic aluminium case, plastic hood, spare filters & a complimentary 10mm Angenieux lens (this has some coating marks on the front).

We photograph each individual item that comes into our store. If something is without a photo it will be updated shortly. If you are interested in one of our cameras and would like further photos please get in touch.
Cameras are all rated on condition by our experienced team. We test rigorously before stocking items and give each product a fair rating on aesthetic and working condition.
Our Guarantee
The majority of our cameras come with a 6 month repair warranty unless individually stated. The exception to this is our film and digital compact cameras which come with a 1 month warranty. This does not cover accidental damage.
Free UK Shipping over £100
Spend over £100 with us and get your order shipped for free. We use Royal Mail and DHL as our shipping providers.
We do ship internationally- prices are worked out on checkout on the website.
Returns
If you change your mind or aren't feeling the camera/lens/equipment we can refund your order up to 14 days after purchase on items ordered online only.
Beyond this we offer a 30 day refund period, whereby if your camera is faulty or not working up to 30 days after purchase, we will offer a refund or exchange. This does not cover accidental damage.
VAT and Taxes
The vast majority of our cameras do not qualify for reclaimable VAT in the UK.
For orders shipped internationally, any local taxes will be added when clearing clearing customs locally.
The gift that keeps on giving (otherwise known as Brexit) means that any orders from within the EU will be subject to local VAT.
